You can make a girl's elastic skirt out of just about anything! I wrote this post the other day showing how to make one from scratch with fabric. Today I'm showing you how to make one from two dinner napkins! No hemming, Just simple stitching. It's amazingly easy. And I bought my napkins at Old Time Pottery for $1 each. They had a variety of colors/patterns, but I liked this one best for a skirt. This skirt is for my size 7 girl. It would probably fit my size 8 girl, as well. You can make these for younger girls, too!
I'm linking to these parties!

I make reversible skirts for my granddaughters all the time but never THOUGHT to use napkins. What a great idea and so much easier than the ones I have been making- LOVE IT! Hugs-Diana
Hi Amy,
So happy to have found you over on Edie's Grace Girls blog. Your t-shirt tutorial was brilliant. I'm your newest email follower - I can't wait to check out your posts.
My goal is to break out my daughter's sewing machine and start some projects together over spring break. Thanks for the encouragement by posting such fun crafts.
xoxo michele
